Against the backdrop of rapid global technological advancements, applied mechanics and mechanical engineering, as the foundation driving modern industrial innovation, continue to demonstrate their overarching significance. Applied mechanics not only helps us understand the behavior of objects under forces but also plays a crucial role in aerospace, military, automotive manufacturing, and other high-tech fields. Simultaneously, the development of mechanical engineering has driven the rapid progress of intelligent manufacturing, robotics, and other industries, significantly enhancing production efficiency and economic benefits.

2026 7th International Conference on Applied Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering (ICAMME 2026), hosted by Northwestern Polytechnical University, will be held in Xi'an, China, from December 11-13, 2026. The conference will focus on research areas such as "Aerospace Structural Mechanics Analysis," "Applied Mechanics," and "Mechanical Engineering."
